Just not my week...

Well I haven't blogged in a few days because I am just too tired. I think I was in bed before 9pm a few days this week. Pretty abnormal for me. Noah has decided that his new wakeup time is 4am. I don't condone this at all. In fact if it was not for his funky ear infection I would let him cry it out. I am not opposed to that at all anymore. But I know his ears are killing him so I bring him in bed with us. Josh and I sleep while he lays there wide awake cooing and crying, needless to say we haven't been sleeping much at all. That and Josh has had to work late a couple of nights this week, which leaves me on mommy and daddy duty!

We did go to the ENT Thursday and he has decided that Noah most definitely needs tubes. Mainly in one ear, but they don't do just one ear anymore. Something about when they used to do that, the other ear would then start getting infected. So, we are getting tubes in both ears Tuesday morning. I am hoping that this will give him some relief and me some sleep. Wow do I need sleep.

So that is my week in a nutshell! Maybe I should start drinking coffee and I will have more energy to blog. Anyone out there can recommend some coffee and the fixings...I think it is high time I started!

Sorry they are wearing you out. Try Community Coffee-flavored. Try vanilla bean, or something like that and put cream and splenda in it until you get used to the taste. I only take mine with cream now and I drink Starbucks which has the most caffiene. If it was not for coffee, I would not make it. I will be thinking about Noah.

I will be praying for sweet little Noah and you too! I will pray for not only the tubes to go well but that also that the night before will all work out and he will be okay with not being fed in the middle of the night. poor guy!

We are praying for you! Hang in there.
If you like cold coffee (the only way I can really drink it), try the Cold Brew stuff. It is around the creamers and comes in all kinds of great flavors. A friend of mine just introduced me to the best drink. You mix 6 shots of cold brew to one cup of milk (I think that is right - if it is too strong, add more milk). If you like it sweeter, add Splenda. Serve over ice. It was wonderful and refreshing.

by the way...the only way I like coffee is to put french vanilla creamer from the milk section in my coffee. You can make it as sweet as you want plus it cools the hot coffee so you can drink it. Forgot the name of the creamer but you will see it next to the milk.

Just wanted to wish little Noah (and his worried Mommy)good luck tomorrow. I know this is just a small bump in the road, and he'll be so much happier after this and the earaches are behind him. Take care!
